Here are a few answers to some questions that you may have regarding your hair on your wedding day
Q How soon in advance should I book my Wedding hair?
A If you are happy with the details that I have provided on my web site I would suggest booking as soon as possible as dates in high season get booked up to 12 months in advance.
Friday, Sundays, Bank holidays and Xmas are also extremely popular.
Q How soon should I book a trial?
A I suggest contacting me as soon as possible to organise a trial for between 6/8 weeks prior to your Wedding day however should you wish to book sooner then I am happy to do this.
Q Where will my hair trial be carried out?
A I have a Hair salon based from my home. This is a professional environment however I am also more than happy to travel to you.
Q What should I bring along with me on the day of the trial?
A Bring along any hair accessories that you would like to wear; ie, a Veil or Tiara. You may also want to bring any pictures of styles that you particually like, a camera is also a good idea.
Q How long will my hair take to do on the day?
A It depends on the length, thickness and style that you are wanting me to create.
I normally like to allow at least 1 Hour for a bride.
Q How long will my Bridesmaid's hair take to do on the day?
A 45 mins for an adult bridesmaid.
Q How long for the mother of the bride/groom?
A 30/45 minutes for mother of the bride/groom.
Q Do I need to pay a deposit?
A I require a deposit of £20.00 on booking a trial with me. This will secure the date of your wedding in my diary and in turn be deducted from your final bill.
Q How far do you travel?
A I cover Hampshire, Dorset and Sussex.
Q Do I wash my hair on the day of the wedding?
A Your hair will need to be as clean as possible so I suggest that you wash your hair either the night before or the morning of the wedding. Your hair should have very littlle product on and NO Straightening Irons are to used. This also applies to the trial.
Q Do I have my Hair or Make up done first?
A I suggest your hair is done first so that your make up is as fresh as possible.
Q Do I need to buy my Hair accessories before I have my hair trial?
A No, it is sometimes a good idea to decide on your hairstlye first so we can decide how to compliment the style with the accessories. I can supply a selection of hair accessories at the trial.
Q Should I have my hair cut before my wedding?
A It is always a good idea to have the dry ends removed to make sure your hair is in good condition however I would suggest having a minimal amount taken off and to do this 2/3 weeks before the wedding.
